Victims and families
The Victim Liaison Officer will offer ongoing information and advice. If an advocate is presenting your Victim Personal Statement at an oral hearing they too will be able to provide information, and support on the day. Victim Support is the national charity which helps people affected by crime and provides free and confidential support to help people deal with their experiences. Victim Support also runs Supportline. Trained personnel provide support over the phone or get you in touch with your local Victim Support service.
